On ios this appli is very nice, but i have upgrade on ios 8 and isub crash at launch

The developer just spend a good half hour educating me on the setup and i even ended up learning how to set up a static DHCP lease in the process! iSub works as advertised with no clipping or lag. What else could you ask for? Looking forward to the next update.

Ive been an avid user of Orb for a couple years now, but with poor ios4 support, I went looking for an alternative and what I found was a far superior product. (Note: iSub is for music only, so Im not speaking in terms of Orbs video abilities) iSubs ios4 integration is impeccable, seamlessly replacing the iPod app in every way. Song caching assures youll never miss a beat and additional new features like lyrics, bookmarking and hi-res album art are icing on the cake. The dev is responsive on Twitter and this is an app I will use daily. There is no need to store music on your device now. Please trust my review, any negative ones prior to mine must be for old versions because I have ZERO complaints. Suggestion for the dev: create a "lite" version so people can see how it works. $4.99 is an investment in the day of $0.99 apps so people need a way to see how tight the integration is. Reviewed on iPhone 4 under iOS4.0.1

The app is absolutely fantastic. Does exactly what it says and does it well. How Apple approved the last update without bothering to test on all iPhone models is a mystery. The fact its taking Apple THREE WEEKS to allow a bug fix is bordering on criminal incompetence. Isnt this exactly the issue that Apple tells us being chained to their app store monopoly is supposed to avoid? Apple have my money and are deliberately causing problems for anyone that doesnt give them more and buy their latest flawed 4G offering (thats even deliberately misleadingly named as its NOT a 4G phone). IPhone isnt a reliable phone/entertainment device as advertised, its a fashion statement. iTunes business model is criminal for software, no refunds, no method of timely updates, no quality assurance, no assurance the apps will even work. Apple are technically incompetent greedy fashion designers. Is Apple listening? Give this guy a break! Release the update and make his (and Apples) customers happy!

Even better than Simplify Media IMO. If youre looking at a streaming solution for your personnal music collection over wifi or 3G, look no further. Really stable & you can really tweak it. Im particularily impressed by 3G performance, as compated to something like Orb. 5 stars in my book. Version 3.0 is better than ever! Streaming is smooth, and there is no crash anymore.

Great program. Love that you can set different bitrate thresholds for 3G and wi-fi. Easy to navigate, handles my +100gig library with ease.

In my opinion the best app for streaming from subsonic. Excellent interface, fairly stable, updates are ongoing and have improved the stability and featured further. Im loving it, been using for about 10 months now First app Ive reviewed, I just wanted to say thanks and keep it up!
