iSub Music Streamer App Reviews

I tried a few apps to listen music from my subsonic server and this one is the best. Works perfectly, has all features I need and is stable. The design of the app is a bit outdate but is very easy to use.

Thank you for updating the app to support iOS 8! I have been using this app almost every single day for more than 5 years and its awesome! I run my own Subsonic server, which allows me to manage my iPhones music without iTunes. If youre new to Subsonic, be aware there is a "donation" required to enable the API access for the iSub app. You do that through your Subsonic server, not this app. Its well worth it though, if youre looking for a fantastic solution to access your entire music library on your iOS devices. I hope the developer continues to support this app - its always one of the most essential apps on my phone!

Subsonic will stop working if you dont get premium which is $1 a month. I didnt know that. I want money back.

I’ve been using this with my subsonic server for several years now. I just bought a new headset and didn’t even realize this app had a built in EQ… It was a bit hidden, but now that I found it, it made my day! I love the ability to cache songs.

iSub is the finest app for streaming from Subsonic servers on iOS. There is one lacking feature which is Chrome cast audio support. That would perfect this app. However Im not certain if this app is still being developed as the last update is from April 2015 as of this review (October 2016).

This App has crashed at iOS8. Please respond as soon as possible. "iSub"is so my favorite.

I can not touch repeat button on ios8. Please fix this bug!

Every functionality works well but it needs UI design improvement

I have used this app since the day it was released. I use it for a minimum of 2 hours a day, (whenever I am driving) yesterday updated my OS to The newest version and sadly can not get this app to connect to the server anymore. I have way to large of a music collection to put it on my phone and have no other way of accessing it anymore, its a sad, sad, sad, day!

Not beautiful but it works very well with subsonic in every way. After iOS 10, no sound for music. Edit: reinstalling fixed the audio.

I host Subsonic on freenas and the playback is flawless.

Big thanks to the developer for fixing the ios 8 crash issue. Ive used this app for years and its the only real option for ios.

Im so relieved and ecstatic that iSub has been updated for iOS 8!! Easiest and most useful player for managing server and iOS playlists. Easy to clear out any unwanted cached songs and offline management.

The best music app (as long as you have your own server) is back and Im ecstatic! Access to all my music, the ability to cache so you dont kill your data, the ability to make a playlist on the fly, edit it, and have it show up on your server for further editing and sharing... This app has it all. Its by far my favorite music app and arguably my favorite app on my iPhone 5s. Thank you so much to the developer, I would definitely be interested in donating more money for continued support and development for this simply phenomenal app!

It keeps crashing when wireless is on even without being connected as long wireless is on. *quick fix is turn off wireless
