Ben (the Dev) has made a commitment to updating the app to assure functionality, so this app is back in my game and is a home run. Works better than iTunes or Music.app for me.

This is far and away the best SubSonic app on iOS. Things I particularly like about it: - The interface is very responsive. - Everything works as expected. - Songs can be manually cached for use offline or when without WiFi (slide to the right on an album or track listing) - Includes a "Random Album" feature

just wish it had automatic bookmarks for audio book playback... :)

Best iPhone music app program -- hands down -- (the front end) to listen to and download (cache for offline listening) music to the phone your own music from your own subsonic server (the backend, which is a free, open source program). Nothing else comes close.

Aside from minor hiccups switching from online to offline mode (loss of playback position) this is as good as it gets. 5 Stars.

I love this app. I literally use it every single day. I stream music during my commute to and from work. I also use it to stream movies and tv shows from my home server. This is the absolute best subsonic app on iOS. Worth every penny. The iOS streaming is a little annoying because of Apples new streaming policy of parsing into 10 second packets. Maybe once the movie/tv stream will skip forward or backwards 10 seconds because the packets were rearranged in the wrong order, but honestly its worth t to have high quality video streams from your home server to iPhone or iPad. If you havent bought this yet but are running a subsonic server, get it. You will not be disappointed. Also - Im glad the developer or open source team of developers is continuing to maintain this. Its the best subsonic app and deserves to be maintained.

I was very impressed by the amount of customizable features this app has to offer. I finally dont have to use the stock music iPhone app and now have access to ALL of music music from anywhere. You can also set it up to only cache songs on your phone from your server when you are connected to wifi. This works great for someone with a limited data plan like myself. A+

Update: why the change to bookmarks? They dont work for me most of the time now. Before, I would have to name a bookmark and immediately create a second one, overwriting the first. Otherwise it would point to an old, deleted bookmark or playlist. Why would you want multiple bookmarks w the same name anyway? Its like reading a book and leaving each bookmark in its place rather than just reusing the same one. Please fix this as I use it all the time and its back to 5 stars. Long, long time user of iSub and Subsonic. So thankful for the IOS update! I hope work continues on this, my most important app.

I have a very extensive library of music on my laptop. 70k MP3 files and 67k FLAC files. Carrying all of this music on a portable music player is just not an option. I came across this app and now I cannot imagine being without it. I can stream all of my library when i am away from home and enjoy all of my lossy and lossless music flawlessly. Definitely worth the money! Thanks for this amazing app!

If you stream your own music using iSub, hands down the best app!

This app is fantastic. Gives me full access to my music while on the go. (Im using subsonic premium). Worth the cost for both. Using iPhone 6s and ios9. Works great. Thanks!

Tried them all. Settled on this one. It rocks.

The app isnt scaled for iPhones with higher resolution displays i.e. iPhones after the 4gen are stuck with low resolution experience. If you are quick to change the song As the current song is ending you will hear the next (pre-cached) song as well as the song you selected.... This is annoying. Other than those flaws this app has an EQ which makes it better than Spotify or Pandora any day.

If youre looking for an app to stream/listen from anywhere your extensive personal home library, subsonic and isub is just about perfect. I use this every single day, and is easily my most used app.
